The Natural Wedding Makeup I Relied On For Our Big Beachy Day

The eye shadows, bronzers, skin and hair care products I trusted to get a natural, beachy look for our big day at The Raleigh. Despite everyone telling me to pay a professional to do my bridal look, in the end I decided on a natural wedding makeup look I did myself. And I'm so glad I did. With a bit of preparation and a handful of fabulous makeup products (MAKE UP FOR EVER, VEIL, and YSL, I'm looking at you) I was able to achieve the boho and beachy wedding look of my dreams. TRUE BLUE SPA Purifying Peel Off Face Mask with Blackberry. This pure black mask was perfect for exfoliating my face a week before the wedding, it specifically attacked those pesky little black heads and clogged pores.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Mat Bronzer.  You know how some bronzers look like they painted terracotta paint on your face – this is not one one of them. This bronzer lends a warm, sun-kissed glow to the skin with just the right amount of color for a natural look.

ESTEE LAUDER Pure Color Eye Shadow Palette. I did my wedding makeup about 20 minutes before my bridal party photos began (it took so much time setting up), but all the eye shadow colors complemented each other perfectly, and it was easy to get a natural makeup look in no time flat.

YVES SAINT LAURENT Shimmering Lip Gloss. Easy, pink, shimmering sparkles. This YSL lip gloss was perfect for achieving the beachy and natural makeup look I was going for.

JJ EYELASHES The longest lasting eyelash extensions I've ever had. These eyelash extensions stayed put even after lots of swimming, late-night partying, and late-night swimming at The Raleigh Miami Beach ;)

B DRY BLOW BAR MIAMI BEACH. I'm so glad I decided to get my hair blown out a la the beachy waves look. The hair care team was hilarious and they gave one helluva blowout.

TOUCHBACK PLUS Clear Shampoo and Conditioner. These are two of my favorite products for giving my hair tender loving care. A few weeks before we left for Miami my hair freaked out (crazy frizz, dull color, dry ends) but the conditioner added tons of shine, calmed my tresses, and brightened my color.

SALLY HERSHBERGER Hyper Hydration Super Keratin Spray. This little orange gem softens my ends and manages my insane frizz. I use this keratin spray everyday.

REDKEN Chromatics Highlights and hair colorist DAVID STANKO. I just adore David. Not only is he a true master of hair color, he tells the best stories in the biz.  

VEIL COSMETICS Illuminating Highlighter. This lightweight highlighter works wonders on dark circles and helps conceal blemishes in just a few swipes. You can always find this highlighter in my handbag.

SEPHORA Holographic Bag Collection. I found these hologram makeup bags on Sephora.com and within minutes I walked into my corner store (I couldn't resist having them for our destination wedding + honeymoon). I'm obsessed with all things holographic and iridescent, the more it looks from The Little Mermaid, Back to the Future, The Jetsons, or the '80s, the better.
